3 Simple Workouts to Get You Moving this Winter!

Exercise is one of the most important aspects of living a healthy lifestyle and with Winter around the corner, it can get a little bit tough to get out and get moving! Taken from Belinda’s new book Fit Mama, these workouts are super simple yet challenging and are perfect for exercising anytime and anywhere! Set 1: Full Body Boost

If you’re looking for a workout that will test and challenge your entire body, Belinda’s Full Body Boost is what you’re looking for!

Time: 30 mins

Repetitions: 3-5

Warm Up

Working Set

  • 10 x Push-Ups
  • 1 minute of jump lunges
  • 10 x split squats
  • 1 minute of squats (with hands clasped in front of you)
  • 10 x toe-tap leg raises
  • 1 minute of side-to-side squat jumps
  • 10 x walkouts

Stretch and cool down

Set 2: Core Workout

Belinda’s core workout is perfect for working on your balance, improving your overall strength and chiseling out that eight pack!

Time: 30 mins

Repetition: 3

Warm Up

Working Set

  • 20 x plank taps
  • 10 x side-to-side squat jumps
  • 20 xV sit ups
  • 10 x squat jumps
  • 20 x flutter kicks
  • 10 x forward lunges
  • 20 x lying knee raises
  • 30-second T-stabilisation
  • 30-second Superman

Stretch and cool down

Set 3: Booty Lifter

This workout is for you ladies (or men!) that are looking to firm up and get that killer booty! This workout is no pushover though, so get ready to sweat!

Time: 45 mins

Repetitions: 3

20-minute warm-up run, cycle, or walk

  • 10 x bicep curls with overhead press
  • 10 x sumo squats
  • 10 x high-knee speed steps
  • 10 x high-knee step back lunges
  • 10 x squats
  • 10 x wide-leg weight taps
  • 10 x push-up climbers
  • 10 second plank
  • 10 x speed sit-ups

Stretch and cool down

Now that you’ve got the routine set, all that’s left is to get moving! The key to results is consistency and commitment! As a result, Belinda recommends doing these workouts at least 3 times a week as part of your weekly exercise routine.
